Everyone’s prayers have been answered, and a donor for Rimon’s kidney transplant has been found (Alhamdulillah). All the test reports have also come back positive. Currently, the process of preparing the donor’s passport, visa, and other necessary documents is underway, which is expected to take approximately one and a half months. It has been decided that the treatment will take place in Kolkata. The estimated cost of treatment and related expenses is approximately 2 million BDT (20 lakh taka). In Sha Allah, the treatment process is expected to begin at the start of January. Therefore, the required funds need to be arranged by December.

On behalf of Obolombon, an amount of BDT 192,500 has been handed over to Rimon’s brother, Borhan. In addition, Borhan is making efforts to raise financial support from relatives and family members. He has expressed hope that he may be able to arrange approximately BDT 500,000 (5 lakh taka). Even then, around BDT 1.3 million (13 lakh taka) will still be required.

A sincere appeal is extended to all friends—please contribute in whatever way you can, either personally or by reaching out to your friends, relatives, and well-wishers for support. We have time until December to achieve this goal.

Following the suggestion of our friend Shanto, Borhan has been advised to submit requests for financial assistance to three authorities:

• Directorate of Public Health (this has already been completed)
• The Honorable Deputy Commissioner (DC)
• The Honorable Prime Minister

Rimon himself will be the applicant for these requests. Once the applications are submitted, Shanto will try to assist in facilitating their approval. Sincere thanks to Shanto for his support and initiative.
